Meet Chef Eric Centeno


Executive Chef Eric Centeno’s creativity and culinary skills have justly brought him international recognition. With more than 30 years of experience, his artistic style and infectious passion for food have wowed the palates of food advocates worldwide. Hailing from New York, he began cooking by his mother’s side at an early age and developed a love for the culinary arts. From there, Chef Eric made his passion a career path and received formal training from Baltimore International Culinary School, working alongside some of the world's most renowned chefs, including Master Chef Tom Chin, Joel Antunes, Gunter Seeger, and celebrity chefs Martin Yan and Wolfgang Puck.


Following formal training, Chef Eric took things to the next level and became a focused globetrotter geared towards experiencing different cuisine to soon incorporate into his inventive style, self-titled as "New American World Cuisine." Chef Eric takes pride in the ability to adapt his formal training and techniques into a role as a visionary. This led to him being highly sought and employed by some of the nation’s most prestigious hotels and restaurants, including Ritz Carlton and The Vinoy Renaissance.  


Besides his strong passion for food, Chef Eric also shares the desire to improve today's nutritional standards by preparing heart-healthy meals. Earning the title of Certified Raw Chef and Certified Health and Nutrition Counselor from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition at Columbia University, he studied under leading medical doctors and renowned dietary-conscious chefs from around the world. Now standing by his popular “Food is love; eat well!” motto, Chef Eric wows even the most finicky eaters by proving flavor does not have to be compromised in order to be healthy through his culinary expertise. In his “free” time of an already demanding schedule, Chef Eric also holds seminars and speaking engagements to further encourage people of all ages to enjoy food that is not only beneficial to their vitality but simply delicious.

Meet Sandra Centeno, Co-Owner and Director of Catering Sales


Executive Chef Eric Centeno boldly declares that his wife, Sandra Centeno, is the main ingredient and key component to his success in the catering industry. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Media Arts and Radio/TV/Film from Clark Atlanta University, (CAU). But her journey was not always easy and in keeping with the philosophy of her alma mater, she had to “find a way, or make one.”

Sandra was born of immigrant parents from Haiti and was raised in Chicago, Illinois, before moving to Orlando, Florida, where she completed high school. Although her family had little financially, Sandra was determined to pursue her dream of becoming a TV producer, and after graduating CAU, her goal was ultimately realized. She landed a position first at CNN International and then finally achieved her dream job as a television producer for WSB-TV.

After marriage and the birth of her two children, Sandra realized that she wanted to invest the majority of her time raising her children and supporting her husband. This change in priorities prompted Sandra and her husband to embark upon a career that would not only educate their children about managing a business, but would also grant them more time together as a family. As Director of Catering Sales of Exquisite Delites, Sandra ensures exceptional customer service for her clients and the company stays on task with procedures and protocols. She is fluent in French, Haitian Creole, Spanish and English and is currently learning Amharic and Hindi. That skillset, coupled with her new certification as an event planner, adds the perfect ingredient for assured success with Exquisite Delites.

Exquisite Delites is a modern luxury breed of Atlanta’s event catering company that is focused on the guest experience.  Founded by Executive Chef/Owner Eric Centeno, we specialize in elevated New American cooking while sourcing the highest quality ingredients from local farms and urban hydroponic gardens. Chef Eric’s extensive knowledge in gastronomy will ensure a restaurant-quality experience in a special event setting.
